there are several restaurants to be found in the shopping section of iscantir. for example, "the lagoon" serves seafood from lake amaranth -- don't worry, you won't find hippocampus or mermaid or kraken on the list, though to be fair if sea monsters were easier to catch and kill that might not be the case. the lagoon is a small establishment, made of wood, embellished with many sea decorations -- ship helms on the walls, sails strung up on the ceiling. it's an interesting atmosphere, at least. "castle falls", on the other hand, is likely the nicest restaurant iscantir has to offer. true to its name, it's built to look like a castle, but of course nowhere near as big. still there is plenty of room, it's about the same size as castle kiamoko, in fact. the atmosphere is elegant; musicians play harps, flutes, and violins, and only reservations are accepted - no walk-ins. it's a favorite of the townspeople, but only if you have the money for it.
